Directorate of Treasuries and accounts is responsible for the Financial Accounting,
establishment and controlling of Rajasthan Subordinate Accounts Services cadre under Finance Department,
Government of Rajasthan. For these purposes, the following major task is being performed by the Department of Treasuries and Accounts

Technical and Financial control of all treasuries and sub treasuries of the State. Operation of Integrated Financial Management System established with the objective of making the working system of budget and Treasuries offices transparent.
Giving suggestions/proposals to the State Government for amendment of Rajasthan General Financial and Accounting Rules and Rajasthan Treasury Rules to the Finance Department
Compiling monthly income and expenditure figures of various departments received from treasuries to provide latest information on the ways and means position.
Assisting the Accountant General, Rajasthan in the task of sending vouchers related to defense pension payments by the State Treasuries to the controller of the Defense Accounts(Pension), Pyaragraj and obtaining reimbursement thereof.
Maintenance of accounts of Rajasthan Advance Risk Fund through the treasuries of Government of Rajasthan
Establishment and control of Assistant Accounts Officer-I/II and Junior Accountant Cadre of Rajasthan Subordinate Accounts Service
To maintain the accounts of long term loans provided to the employees of Rajasthan Government through the treasuries.
To Maintain and upkeep Vitta Bhawan.
Disposal of remaining work of Small Savings and lottery Department
